Who we are

This website is operated by Kilkenny Airport Taxi & Minibus Hire (“we”, “us”). We provide private airport transfers, taxi and minibus hire from Kilkenny, Ireland.

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the data controller for the personal data described below.

What we collect, and why

We only collect what you choose to send us. There is no account system, no newsletter and no profiling.

When you use the quote or enquiry form

We collect your name, phone number, email address, pick-up location, destination, travel date, number of passengers, journey type and any message you write.

Why: to answer your enquiry, quote a price and, if you go ahead, arrange your journey.
Lawful basis: Article 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of that contract if you book.

Technical data

Our server records your IP address alongside each form submission, and stores a one-way hashed (SHA-256) copy of it for a short period to limit automated spam.

Why: to keep the form working and prevent abuse.
Lawful basis: Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in the security and availability of the website.

Standard web server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser user-agent) are generated by our hosting in the ordinary course of serving the site.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising or remarketing tags, no social media pixels, no third-party fonts and no embedded chat widget. Nothing is stored in your browser’s local or session storage. That is why you are not asked to accept a cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.

If we later add analytics or advertising tools, we will ask for your consent first, and those tools will not run until you give it.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing. It is handled by two service providers acting on our instructions:

• Resend — delivers the enquiry email to us and the confirmation email to you. Our sending domain is configured in Resend’s EU (Ireland) region.
• Hostinger — provides the server this website runs on, where a copy of each enquiry is stored.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stored on our server are rotated monthly and retained for approximately 24 months, after which they are deleted. Emails in our mailbox are kept only as long as needed for the booking and our records. Spam-prevention hashes are discarded within an hour.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email martinbutler94@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission, 6 Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, D02 X963 — dataprotection.ie.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is stored on our server with restricted file permissions, and our email credentials are held outside the public web directory. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures.

Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the “last updated” date above.
