1. About these terms

These terms apply when you book private transport with Kilkenny Airport Taxi & Minibus Hire, whether by phone, email or through this website. By making a booking you agree to them.

2. Quotes and pricing

Submitting the form on this website is a request for a quote, not a confirmed booking. Your journey is only booked once we confirm it back to you by phone or email.

Prices are quoted in euro. We confirm the fare with you before you travel, so you know the figure in advance rather than watching a meter. If tolls, airport charges or extended waiting apply to your journey, we will say so when we quote.

A quote may change if the journey details change — a different pick-up point, extra passengers, additional luggage or a materially different time.

3. Payment

We accept cash, card, bank transfer and Revolut. For business and account customers we can arrange invoicing.

4. Cancellations and changes

We ask for 48 hours’ notice to cancel or change a booking. Plans change and we would always rather know early — the more notice you give us, the easier it is to move things around, particularly for the larger vehicles which are held for a specific date.

To cancel or change a booking, call us on 0818 11 11 16 as early as you can.

5. Waiting time and flight delays

For airport collections we ask for your flight number so we can check its arrival time.

The first two hours after your flight lands are free. That covers immigration, baggage reclaim and the usual delays, so you are not watching the clock at the carousel. After two hours, waiting is charged at €25 per hour.

If your flight is significantly delayed or diverted we will contact you to agree how to proceed rather than simply leaving.

For all other pick-ups, please be ready at the agreed time. Extended waiting may be charged.

6. Passengers and luggage

Passenger and luggage capacities shown on our fleet page are the maximum for each vehicle. Please tell us in advance about oversized items — golf clubs, skis, bicycles, buggies or wheelchairs — so we can send a suitable vehicle. We cannot carry more passengers than a vehicle is licensed for.

Child seats: Irish law requires children under 150 cm or 36 kg to travel in an appropriate restraint. We can provide seats — tell us the ages of the children travelling when you book so the right seat is fitted before we arrive.

Wheelchair access: our minivan and eight-seater can carry a wheelchair. The saloon and the sixteen-seater cannot. Let us know when you book and we will send a suitable vehicle.

7. Our responsibilities

We will make every reasonable effort to arrive on time and complete your journey as agreed. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including traffic, road closures, severe weather, accidents or flight changes.

8. Your responsibilities

Please give accurate pick-up details and contact numbers, be ready at the agreed time, and treat the vehicle and driver with respect. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in our vehicles. You are responsible for any damage or soiling caused by you or your party.

9. Lost property

Please check the vehicle before you leave. If you think you have left something behind, call us as soon as possible. We will hold found items for a reasonable period but cannot accept responsibility for loss.

10. Complaints

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
